Corporate portraits.

Corporate portraits.

This is a good client of mine David Cradduck who runs Cradduck Design. This portrait is from a series taken to refresh staff profiles on their website. In the corner of their open plan offices they had a display stand with some of their graphics on it. I knew it would make a good background for the portrait. The background can be more than just the stuff behind the subject, it can and should add to the portrait.

Corporate meeting photographs are tricky to get right. It is easier if they are all looking to camera and you pose them, but if you want the more contemporary natural and informal style of corporate photography you have to try and capture all the people in the meeting looking focused and professional in one frame.

Company group photograph for The Alarming Company. These type of large commercial group photographs are difficult to compose as you have lots of different elements to bring together. You need to be very careful to get the composition right as you do not want to end up with a football line up. You need to get some branding in the photograph as well as a good angle on the offices and the vehicle fleet.

Taken from a series of press release portraits for Rob Osborne at Chosemycare.com Ltd who wanted some good portraits for general PR and to help promote their new website. This photograph is all about composition. There are only three elements to the portrait and the balance of the composition needs to work really well.

Corporate portrait photographer

Shot these corporate portraits last week for David Goodge from Shallowford Consulting. He needed some portraits for marketing and social media but did not want a studio or office setting as he works internationally and wanted corporate portraits that suggested he was from the UK. We did a serious of portraits that had elements of corporate London in them, some more subtle than others. I think the understated ones work better.

Corporate portraits.

Simple corporate portrait for press release and general marketing. This was a commission to take some corporate portraits for a software company, I had several portraits to do of members of the team and some extra corporate portraits of the two directors. We had shot several different types of portraits around their offices, inside and out, but I was not that happy with the results. I noticed the corporate logo on the front of reception, but was a bit weary of taking the typical PR portrait of grinning business man with company logo. I kept the composition really tight as this gives the portrait a graphic feel and avoids making it an ordinary press release shot.
